Remember how I mentioned awhile back that a co-worker of mine had died due to alcohol poisoning? Well, I found out earlier this week from a reliable source that it wasn't drinking that killed her. Turns out she had pneumonia at the time and didn't even realize it and that's why she had blood in her lungs. Freaky, huh? I had no idea you could have that particular illness and not even know it. I had pneumonia when I was a kid and I was sick as a dog while the illness ran its course. Kind of makes you wonder about what diseases you might have right now and be unaware of. Great, like I'm not paranoid enough as it is! Lousy microscopic organisms....
